Lila lives in a small blue house by the sea and wears her yellow raincoat and red boots each morning to explore the beach. One sunny day, she discovers a silver-grey seal named Mira in a tide pool. Mira wears a braided seaweed band with a tiny pearl and can travel through reflections. Mira is troubled because a glowing orb that holds a special song of the sea has vanished, leaving the ocean feeling sad. Lila, full of curiosity, agrees to help.

Hand in hand with Mira, Lila dives through a shimmering tunnel into a world of rainbow coral and dancing fish. They ask the sea creatures for news and are directed to the Whispering Caves, where they find the memory flickering and afraid. Lila speaks to it gently, and together they sing a song of waves and sunshine, making its light grow stronger. But their way back is blocked by seaweed, and they must find another path.
