Mira cares for her garden every morning with her red watering can, and one day a robin with a bright orange-red breast lands on her fence. She names him Pip and decides she wants him and other birds to stay. Curious about what birds need, she asks her neighbor Mr. Lee, who tells her about food, water and safe places to rest, and explains that native plants can provide all three. Mira then visits a garden center and chooses native flowers and a berry bush to plant at home, watering them faithfully as they grow.
As the plants flourish, more birds arrive and the garden fills with song. Mira observes which plants the birds favor and takes further steps to keep them safe and comfortable. Written by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, this gentle story for young readers shows how curiosity and small acts of care can shape a garden. The tale can be read on Masal İzle.
