Maya is resting on the back steps in her sunflower t-shirt when a fuzzy honeybee darts into the garden. Her Grandpa Joe, in his straw hat and flannel shirt, tells her the bee is gathering nectar and pollen so flowers can make seeds. Maya follows the insect to a pink blossom, where the bee introduces herself as Bumble and explains how pollen clings to her fuzzy body as she moves from flower to flower, helping plants grow. Grandpa Joe notes that many fruits and vegetables would not grow without bees, and Maya starts to see that even tiny creatures can do big jobs.
That night Maya decides to create a school garden filled with flowers that feed bees and other pollinators. With Grandpa Joe's help, she and her best friend Sam pick a sunny spot by the school fence, draw a plan, and invite classmates to bring seeds, dig and water. Planting day is busy and joyful, and green shoots soon appear. When Bumble returns to the blooming sunflowers and lavender, Maya watches pollination happen for herself. This gentle tale by Çınar BİBER introduces pollinators, teamwork and the idea that small helpers make a real difference, and it can be read on Masalcı Baba.
