The Girl and the Gentle Giant

In a forest filled with tall trees and singing birds, Lily, a cheerful girl with curly pigtails and a gap-toothed smile, explores every morning in her yellow raincoat and red boots. One day, while chasing a butterfly, she hears a laugh as big as thunder and meets Boulder, a mossy-green giant three times the height of the tallest tree, with a bark-brown beard full of twigs and little flowers sprouting from his shoulders. Instead of being afraid, Lily introduces herself, and the smallest girl and the biggest giant become fast friends.

Boulder shows Lily how he uses his strength to help others, lifting fallen logs for rabbits and moving branches for birds to nest, teaching her that strength is only good if it helps. With Pip the robin and Hazel the shy rabbit, they explore the woods until Hazel senses a storm coming. Lily organizes the warning, and Boulder shelters everyone through the long, wild night. This heartwarming tale by Ebru Mina TOMURCUK gently shows young readers that kindness, teamwork, and caring for others matter more than size. The story can be read on Onlinemasal Com.Tr.
