In a bright green forest, Gina the giraffe spends her days high among the treetops, nibbling the tastiest leaves and watching clouds drift past. She seldom looks down at the ground, so the tiny creatures moving about below her hooves go unnoticed. One sunny afternoon, a small beetle named Pip calls up to her and offers to show her a special path through the forest. Curious, Gina lowers her long neck and follows him into a world she has never explored.
The walk proves difficult for a giraffe: her neck tangles in branches, her hooves sink into the mud of a stream, and the twisty trails leave her lost. Pip, who knows every hidden path, guides her with patient directions. When they reach a deep ditch too wide for a beetle to cross, Gina helps in return, lifting Pip gently on her nose and clearing a blocked bush with her strong hooves.
