The Fox's Snowy Window

Little Fox wakes on a cold, quiet morning, pulls his blue scarf tight and puts on his brown mittens. When he looks at the window, the glass is covered in frost that resembles a sparkly white forest. Pressing his nose close, he finds pictures in the ice: tall trees with branches like lace, a winding path and tiny animal tracks. His mother, wearing her mustard-yellow shawl, sits beside him with two cups of warm cocoa and asks what he sees.

Together they turn the frost into a storybook, discovering a running deer, a squirrel on a branch, a tiny cabin with curling smoke, rabbits hunting for berries and a proud stag with antlers like branches. A small frost spirit with sparkly hair and snowflake patterns appears at the corner, painting new scenes that only Little Fox seems to notice. This gentle tale by Çınar BİBER explores imagination and the warmth of a quiet morning shared with someone you love, and it can be read on Masalcı Baba.
