In a sunlit forest, a young fox with bright orange fur and a white chest finds a tiny wooden violin and bow under a fallen log. When he tries to play, the bow only squeaks and scratches. A small green cricket in a straw hat, carrying a twig walking stick, hops closer and offers to teach him. The cricket explains that playing well takes daily practice, and the fox eagerly promises to practice every morning by the old oak tree.

Day after day, the fox works on holding the bow and drawing out a soft, steady sound. A grey rabbit in a red scarf hears him and suggests a concert, so the fox practices even harder, nervous but determined. On the day, all the forest animals gather, including a large brown owl with round spectacles. The fox's paws tremble, and his first concert does not go as hoped. This gentle story by Çınar BİBER follows a small animal learning patience, persistence, and courage. It can be read on Masalcı Baba and is suited to children beginning longer tales and anyone nervous about trying something in front of others.
