The Fox's Greatest Gift

In the greenwood, a small fox named Felix lives with his worn brown satchel and red neckerchief. Each morning he visits his dear friend, an elderly badger with spectacles and a mustard-yellow cardigan, who resides under an old oak. When the badger's birthday approaches and he asks for no fuss, Felix decides to find a perfect gift.

Felix explores the woodland shops—a rabbit's stall of honey and acorns, an owl's tree-top shop of notebooks and quills, and others with shiny stones and ribbons. Nothing seems right for his old friend. Sitting on a mossy log at sunset, Felix recalls their shared memories and realizes the best gift is one made from the heart.
