On the first snowy morning of winter, a small russet fox with a white-tipped tail wanders the woods with three red berries and a crooked twig in his satchel, unsure what to do with his finds. A tall grey-brown hare in a red bobble hat hops by and proposes they join the woodland creativity contest, and the fox confesses he has never made a snowman before. The hare's reply is simple: today is a good day to learn.
In a wide clearing the two roll snowballs from small to big and stack them into a body and head, then add stones for eyes, a berry nose and the twig as a laughing smile. Twig antlers, a pinecone crown, berry buttons and a sled follow, and their Snow Creature Surprise draws the other animals to gather and laugh. This cheerful winter tale by Çınar BİBER follows the fox from doubt to confidence, and it can be read on Masalcı Baba, where young readers and listeners meet a story about friendship, patience and trying something new.
