The Flamingo's Missing Pink

On a quiet lake at sunrise, a flamingo named Flora wakes to find her pink feathers have turned gray. Ashamed, she hides and refuses to be seen. Her friend Sam, a spoonbill, stays by her side and reminds her she is still the same inside.

Sam walks with Flora along the shore, where they meet ducks and a turtle. When others comment on her color, Sam explains that colors may change but hearts do not. Flora begins to see herself differently and realizes the activities she loves never depended on pink feathers. This gentle tale by Ebru Mina TOMURCUK explores self-worth and friendship.
