The Cat Who Shared

Luna, a cream-and-ginger cat, treasures her sunny windowsill and the soft jingle of her red collar with its tiny gold bell. When a little grey kitten named Pip asks to share the warm spot, Luna refuses and keeps the windowsill to herself. Yet seeing Pip alone on the cold floor stirs a memory of an old tomcat who once shared his basket with her.

Written by Jane MEADOW, this gentle story follows Luna as she reconsiders what her favorite place means and discovers how kindness can change a quiet afternoon. Young readers watch the two cats grow comfortable with each other and learn that a shared spot can feel warmer and bigger than before. The tale suits children aged 3-7 and offers parents and educators a soft way to talk about empathy and community. It can be read on Kids Tale Book.
