Theo is fascinated by the starlings that sweep across the evening sky above the park, and he marvels at how hundreds of birds turn and swoop as if they were a single creature. With his sketchbook in hand, he tries to capture their flowing shapes on paper, while his grandpa Lou explains that starlings are the best team players in the sky, communicating without words. Inspired, Theo decides to build a giant artwork of a starling flock so everyone can see how beautiful teamwork can be.

He asks his best friend Mira for help, and Sam soon joins with his ruler and careful measuring. Spread out on the grass with paper, scissors, glue and string, the three friends find the work harder than expected: some birds do not fit, the glue turns messy, and Mira wonders whether they should give up. Theo reminds them that the starlings keep trying until they get it right, and with a new plan in which each child takes charge of one part of the flock, the pieces slowly begin to fit together. This gentle tale by Çınar BİBER can be read on Masalcı Baba.
