Ben is an eight-year-old boy living in a small seaside town, where he enjoys collecting shells and watching the waves. One sunny morning, he finds a sea lion lying weak and frightened on the sand. Remembering his father's advice to keep a respectful distance from wild animals, he runs to find Dr. Maya, a marine veterinarian, and together they bring the animal to the rescue center. Through this experience, Ben learns that caring for wildlife calls for expert knowledge and patience.
Eager to help further as the sea lion recovers, Ben proposes making posters that show visitors how to behave around sea lions and other marine animals. Encouraged by Dr. Maya, he creates bright posters with simple messages and places them along the beach path and at the rescue center. Written by Çınar BİBER, this story for young animal lovers can be read on Masalcı Baba.
