Finn is a nine-year-old boy who lives on a small island in the wide blue sea. Wearing his bright yellow raincoat and with a camera around his neck, he pulls on his blue rubber boots each morning and runs to the cliffs where thousands of seabirds nest. The puffins are his favourites: small, plump birds with black and white feathers, bright orange beaks and orange webbed feet. He photographs them as they carry fish, waddle close to his lens and flap over the waves, filling his red backpack with memory cards.

One day Finn asks the island ranger why the puffins nest here and not everywhere. She explains that the island is a protected place where no one may build houses or let dogs chase the birds, and where visitors must stay on the paths and keep quiet. Wanting to help, Finn follows her suggestion to share his photographs so that people who never come to the island can learn how special it is. This gentle tale by Çınar BİBER follows him as he prepares a small exhibition with his family's help, and it can be read on Masalcı Baba.
