Leo is a curious boy with warm light-brown skin and bright hazel eyes. One quiet afternoon he folds a plain white sheet of paper into a crane, and the crane comes alive, fluttering its wings and lifting off his palm. Trailing a soft golden light, it leads him out of his room and into a city folded entirely from paper, where streets crease beneath his red sneakers, houses stand like origami boxes and a tall tower rises like a stack of cards. The crane helps him cross a crinkled blue paper river by unfolding itself into a flat boat.

On the far side, Leo finds small pastel paper folk hiding in dark, crumpled corners. Their city has lost its smile, they whisper, and they are too shy and sad to come out. Leo decides to help, folding lanterns, flowers, birds, stars and butterflies from the paper in his green backpack while the crane touches each one so it glows and blooms with color. This gentle tale by Ebru Mina TOMURCUK, which can be read on Onlinemasal Com.Tr, follows a simple arc about creativity and courage.
