Sam is a curious boy who loves the ocean, and one day he dives into the warm, sparkling water wearing his yellow rash guard and red snorkel mask, carrying a small waterproof satchel. Past pink corals, green seaweed and a swaying kelp forest, he finds a bright flash of orange behind a coral arch: an orange octopus painting on a flat rock, using its arms like paintbrushes.
Unable to speak underwater, Sam and the octopus find another way to talk, with Sam drawing on a slate and the octopus painting pictures back. A little blue fish and a wise old sea turtle join them, and together they turn a blank stretch of rock into a glowing reef mural. This gentle picture-book story by Ebru Mina TOMURCUK can be read on Onlinemasal Com.Tr, and it shows young readers how friendship can grow without words and how a mistake can become something beautiful.
