Leo cares for his garden every morning, pulling tiny weeds and watering each flower with his little brass-handled watering can while wearing his yellow shirt, blue overalls and green boots. Yet once night falls the garden seems quiet and empty, and Leo begins to wonder whether anything at all happens out there after dark.
One warm evening he sits very still on the back steps and notices a dusty-cream moth with feathery antennae hovering beside a pale flower, sipping something sweet and leaving a trail of golden sparkle. Curious, Leo keeps returning to watch, and with an old book from the shed and his mother's help he learns about night pollination and chooses seeds for evening blooms. This gentle tale by Çınar BİBER follows a young gardener as he waits and watches, and it can be read on Masalcı Baba.
