On a gentle moonlit night, a boy named Sam spots a small green light blinking past the garden wall. Dressed in his yellow shirt, dusty blue overall shorts and red sneakers, he clips a little silver flashlight to his pocket and quietly steps outside. The glow draws him beyond the sleeping flowers to a still pond, where he meets Pip, a palm-sized frog whose bright-green skin glows like a lantern as the moonlight fills it and shines back out.
Pip invites Sam to look closer, and the two wander the pond together, finding smooth stones, a dewdrop-hung spider's web and a heart-shaped stone. Fireflies swirl, Pip hops in glad circles and they dance under the full moon, while glowing mushrooms in a hollow log show they also drink the moonlight. When a small firefly drops into the water, Sam stays calm and uses a flat leaf to lift it free. Written by Ebru Mina TOMURCUK, this quiet bedtime tale can be read on Onlinemasal Com.Tr.
