Leo, an eight-year-old boy, lives in a small blue house at the edge of town and spends every Saturday at the Sunny Meadow Sanctuary, carrying a cloth satchel of apple treats for the animals. When a chestnut mare named Clover arrives, Leo notices something unusual: whenever the barn radio plays a soft tune, Clover bobs her head, swishes her tail and taps a front hoof like a quiet drum. Leo begins bringing his little radio to the fence post, and the two sway together, learning to move in rhythm with patience and gentle encouragement from the caretaker, Miss Ada.
When Miss Ada suggests that Leo and Clover share their dance at the sanctuary's family day, the pair start practising in the round yard behind the barn. Their rehearsals are not always smooth; one song has a quick part that makes Clover step too fast and bump the fence, and Leo learns to slow things down, hum the tune himself and begin again. Miss Ada braids a red ribbon into Clover's mane for luck, and Leo brushes her coat until it shines. This warm tale by Ebru Mina TOMURCUK can be read on Onlinemasal Com.Tr.
