Barnaby is a cheerful badger who lives deep in the woodland, recognizable by his grey fur, his black and white striped face and the blue apron he wears with a front pocket. One sunny morning he discovers a shiny red wagon on his doorstep, complete with a wooden handle and four squeaky wheels, and he quickly decides to put it to good use helping the animals around him. Loading it with fresh food and supplies from the woodland market, he begins a delivery service, pulling the handle along the forest paths with his short legs.

His rounds bring him to Granny Hazel, an elderly rabbit who greets him with tea and stories of the old woodland days, and to Old Ollie the Owl, whose memory is not what it once was and who is delighted by berries and a new book. Soon Pip the squirrel joins as a helper, and together the two carry bread, blankets and medicine to those in need. This gentle tale by Çınar BİBER can be read on Masalcı Baba.
