Seven-year-old Lily finds rainy afternoons ideal for adventures. She folds a sheet of white paper into a small dolphin, gives it two inky blue eyes and a little red paper heart, then sets it afloat in a warm bathtub. As she watches it bob on the surface, she wishes for a real adventure like the ones in her storybooks. The paper dolphin shimmers, blinks and introduces itself as Pip, inviting her into the tub, which turns out to be larger than it looks.

Together they dive into a story ocean where waves curl like the pages of an open book, each one carrying a new tale. Lily and Pip pass floating books and singing fish, meet a giant who learns to dance and a brave mouse whose story spills out in sparkling words. When they find a floating book with blank pages that has lost its words, Lily discovers her own imagination can help. This gentle tale by Ebru Mina TOMURCUK celebrates creativity and the joy of reading, and it can be read on Onlinemasal Com.Tr.
